What You'll Do
As a key member of our litigation team, you will provide comprehensive support throughout the life cycle of personal injury cases, including:
- Managing a substantial caseload from litigation through resolution
- Drafting pleadings, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, and correspondence
- Coordinating the collection and review of medical records, billing records, and other case-related documentation
- Assisting attorneys with case strategy, trial preparation, and mediation preparation
- Scheduling depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances
- Organizing and maintaining electronic and physical case files
- Communicating regularly with clients, medical providers, experts, and insurance representatives
- Preparing exhibits, witness files, and trial notebooks
- Monitoring court deadlines and ensuring compliance with filing requirements
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in personal injury law
- Strong knowledge of state and federal court procedures
- Experience handling discovery, medical record analysis, and trial preparation
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software
- Paralegal certificate preferred but not required with relevant experience
